Terms
Terms of service
These terms apply to the NomNomBot website, kitchen workspace, APIs, and Chrome extension.
Effective 12 August 2026
The service
NomNomBot helps you organise recipes, pantry data, meal plans, and grocery shopping. Its agent can research products and prepare a retailer basket. It is an assistive tool: product availability, allergens, nutritional information, prices, substitutions, and retailer content can be incomplete or wrong and must be reviewed by you.
Your account and instructions
You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and have authority to use any kitchen workspace you join. You are responsible for the prompts, recipes, household information, and other content you provide.
Shopping boundary
NomNomBot is designed to stop before checkout, payment, or order placement. You are responsible for reviewing the basket, retailer terms, delivery details, allergens, quantities, substitutions, total price, and payment before placing any order yourself. NomNomBot is independent of the supported retailers and does not guarantee their sites will remain compatible.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, to harm others, or to interfere with another person’s account or retailer session.
- Do not bypass access controls, rate limits, approval boundaries, or retailer restrictions.
- Do not use automation where a retailer’s applicable terms or law prohibit it.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
AI shopping subscription
A kitchen’s first subscription for AI-assisted basket preparation includes a one-time 90-day free trial. We collect a payment method when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before a charge becomes due, AI-assisted basket preparation costs £5 per kitchen per month and renews monthly until cancelled. Eligible promotion codes reduce charges for the period shown in Stripe Checkout. A promotion period starts when the code is applied and includes any time that overlaps the free trial; it does not begin after the trial. Unless cancelled, the subscription continues at the standard £5 monthly price after the promotion expires. A kitchen that has already used the trial is charged the standard price immediately when it resubscribes unless an eligible promotion applies. The website’s cookbook, meal-plan, pantry, and manual shopping-list tools remain available without this subscription. You can manage cancellation through the billing portal; cancel before the applicable free or promotional period ends to avoid a subsequent charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current trial or billing period. Statutory cancellation, refund, and consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
Availability and liability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict accounts that create security, legal, or operational risk. The service is provided with reasonable care but without a promise of uninterrupted availability or error-free AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Contact and governing law
Questions, complaints, and cancellation or data requests can be submitted through Support & data requests. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction that apply where you live.
